Project type
Photobook Binding
Date
Feb 2026
Location

Using two different colors of book cloth for the hard cover and the yellow vinyl sheet on the front cover to present the sky, grass and flowers in nature obviously.
Red, Blue, Yellow are the fundamental cornerstones of color, named primary color, which is the origin of color. You cannot mix spectral red, spectral blue, or spectral yellow with any pigments.
Orange, Purple and Green are known as secondary colors because they all originate from the primary colors.
Orange is derived from red and yellow, purple is derived from red and blue, and green is derived from blue and yellow.
In nature, blue, yellow and green are easy to find. The sky is easy to be the representative of blue, the flowers are easy to be the representative of yellow, and the grass and plants are easy to be the representative of green.
In this photobook ‘Complementary Color’ shows how I capture the blue, yellow and green as complementary colors in the world, which are easy to find during a sunny day in nature.
